He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Applied Chemistry, a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Organic Chemistry, and is currently defending his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Organic Chemistry (Natural Products). He has also spent over fifteen years in the educational sector, serving in both teaching and administrative capacities, gathering much hands-on experience. He is a skilled, productive, innovative, and committed individual to mentoring and developing youths to fulfill their dreams and ambitions; uncovering, discovering, and exploring the potentials and talents within them to fulfill their life purpose and develop society. As a scholar of no mean repute, he has won many academic laurels, including the "Icon of Education in Nigeria" award. He has published numerous research works and articles in reputable international journals. He is also a member of the Chemical Society of Nigeria. His intellectual prowess, coupled with priestly anointing and leadership style, has equipped him with the capacity to manage Uyo City Polytechnic effectively, even at a precarious time when critical challenges almost brought the system to a comatose condition. However, with renewed vigor and strength, he has successfully piloted the affairs of the school, restoring sanity to the system. He is also a Pastor in The True Church of God Worldwide, a global ministry committed to preaching the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is married and blessed with godly children
